This meant cutting through hard surfaces, carrying out precise hand excavation, and using trenchless pipe relining methods to restore the pipe without disturbing the surrounding garden beds or structures.

 

The Solution:

 

Our Eden Plumbing team carried out the work in careful stages, using specialised equipment and advanced pipe relining methods to restore the system with minimal disruption.

• Concrete Cutting: We used demolition and road saw equipment to cut cleanly through the concrete and surrounding hard surfaces, including asphalt and brick. This allowed us to access the damaged pipe sections directly without damaging nearby structures.
• Hand Excavation: A precise trench was dug by hand, 1.5 metres long, to safely expose the area needing repair. This careful approach avoided unnecessary damage and meant the rest of the site could remain untouched.
• Inversion Pipe Relining: Next, we installed a 12-metre-long resin liner using inversion relining techniques. The liner was wrapped around an inflatable packer, guided into place, inflated to match the pipe’s diameter, and then left to cure.
